Panda London's bamboo fabric has several key features:

- Bamboo requires less water than cotton to grow and thrive.
- Panda London's bamboo is Oeko-Tex certified [2] and complies with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Group [3]'s substance list.
- It is naturally antibacterial and resistant to common allergens, like dust mites.
The fabric feels and looks like silk but with the bonus of being more durable, affordable and vegan-friendly.
Is Panda 100% Bamboo Bedding comfortable?
In their Panda bamboo bedding review, our Sleep Hero testers found Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding gets more comfortable with time.
At first, the bedding feels very silky.
However, it becomes even softer after a few washes and feels more 'lived-in'.
Our testers actually preferred the bedding once it was worn in and would highly recommend it to others.
It was breathable and stayed cool throughout the night, so our testers never felt sweaty.
What's included with the bedding set?
The Panda London 100% Bamboo Bedding is available as a complete set or as individual components.
The Panda 100% Bamboo Bedding complete set includes:
- A fitted sheet with elasticated ends to fit snugly to your mattress.
- A duvet cover with ties on each corner to attach your duvet and bamboo buttons at the bottom of the cover.
- Two pillowcases with a classic envelope design. ✉️
Alternatively, you can purchase a flat sheet, duvet cover, fitted sheet or pillowcases individually. 📦
In which colours is the Panda Bamboo Bedding set available?
The Panda 100% Bamboo Bedding set is available in five colours: Urban Grey, Deep Sea Navy, Quiet Grey, Pink and Pure White.
We trialled the Pure White option for a timeless look and are happy to report that it is precisely white.
How should you wash Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding?
On the label, Panda recommends washing the 100% bamboo bedding on a cold, delicate wash in your machine. 🫧
Alternatively, you can wash the bedding by hand if you want to be extra careful.
You can also tumble dry and iron the bedding on low heat, but air-drying is probably the safer option.
Our testers washed the bedding at 30 degrees and let it air dry for a few days.
It was very creased, and it took a few days for the creases to fall out when on the bed.
Overall, the bedding washes well, and you can always use an iron on low heat to remove the creases.

This is an excellent, compact way to store your bedding when you're not using it.

Tell me more about the Panda Bamboo & French Linen Bedding
Panda London's Bamboo and French Linen Bedding Set is an excellent option for those who want the benefits of bamboo with the texture of linen. 🛌
It is 70% bamboo and 30% French linen.
Panda London's bamboo and French linen fabric has several key features:
- Panda's bamboo is sustainably grown in an FSC-certified [1]managed forest with excellent social and environmental standards.
- Their French linen is organically grown and naturally biodegradable, using less water than cotton or synthetic fabrics.
- The bamboo and linen blend is naturally hypoallergenic and discourages parasites like dust mites and bed bugs.
- Panda London's bamboo is Oeko-Tex certified [2] and complies with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Group' [3]s substance list, so it is free from harmful chemicals.
The fabric is much rougher than Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding and does not have the silky feel of bamboo.
What is French linen?
French linen is one of the more luxurious types of linen and is often used for bedding, towels and other homeware products.
French linen is made from flax plants grown in France and is known for its durability and softness with age.
Our Sleep Hero testers initially found Panda's Bamboo and French Linen Bedding rough and itchy.
One of our testers said the bedding irritated their eczema, and they could not sleep in it.
Fortunately, the linen softened a little after a few washes and was more comfortable.
What's included with the bedding set?
The Panda London Bamboo and French Linen Bedding complete set includes:
- A fitted sheet with elasticated ends for a tight fit.
- A duvet cover with ties on each corner to attach your duvet and a row of bamboo buttons on the bottom.
- Two pillowcases with a middle envelope design.
The Panda Bamboo and French Linen Bedding can only be bought as a complete set, with the option to purchase additional pillowcases separately.
In which colours is Panda's Bamboo and French Linen Bedding available?
The bamboo and French linen bedding comes in six colours: Coconut White, Slate Grey, Natural, Silver Lining Grey, Himalayan Pink and Midnight Navy.
We tested the Himalayan Pink option for the perfect midcentury modern aesthetic, and it matched the colour swatch on the website.
How should you wash Panda's Bamboo and French Linen Bedding?
Panda recommends washing the bamboo and French linen bedding on a delicate machine wash or by hand.
You can tumble dry and iron the bedding on low heat, but air drying is preferred.
Our testers washed this bedding several times to see if it would soften.
They washed it at 30 degrees and tried air drying and tumble drying on low heat.
They found the bedding softened significantly in the tumble dryer and was much more comfortable afterwards.
How is the Panda Bamboo and French Linen Bedding delivered?
The Panda Bamboo and French Linen Bedding is delivered in a pouch made from the same material as the bedding.
This is a perfect way to store your bedding when you're not using it.
However, bear in mind that the pouch is quite small, and your bedding will arrive creased.
The creases remain even after washing, so we recommend using an iron on low heat to remove them.
Panda offers UK standard delivery between 3 - 5 working days and free delivery over a certain amount. 🚚
You can use the 30-night trial period to see if the bamboo-linen hybrid is the right match for you.

Panda London offers multiple fabrics, colourways and sizes, so you can customise your bedding to your preference.
Choose your Panda bedding range
Panda London offers two types of bedding: the 100% bamboo bedding set and the bamboo-linen hybrid.
The hybrid option is made from 70% bamboo and 30% French linen.
We explore the differences between each range later on.
Choose your Panda bedding colour
Panda London is all about soft, neutral colours.
There’s no bright red Panda bedding or vibrant prints. 🐼
The bamboo and French linen bedding comes in six colours: Coconut White, Slate Grey, Natural, Silver Lining Grey, Himalayan Pink and Midnight Navy.
The Panda 100% Bamboo Bedding set is available in five colours: Urban Grey, Deep Sea Navy, Quiet Grey, Pink and Pure White.
Our testers found the colours matched how they looked on the website.
Choose the different components of your Panda bedding set
You can purchase Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding as a complete set or as individual components to mix and match.
You can choose from the following components:

How comfortable is Panda London bedding?
Our Sleep Hero reviewers tested both Panda bed sheets and concluded that the two ranges adhere to different comfort preferences.
Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding is silky soft and very comfortable from the outset.
Bamboo fibres [4] are elongated and lie perfectly flat against one another to create that smooth, slippery feel. 🎍
After a few washes, our testers found the 100% bamboo bedding became even softer and had a more 'lived-in' feel.
On the other hand, Panda's Bamboo and French Linen Bedding has a much coarser texture at first.
French linen is made from the flax plant, and these fibres are naturally coarse [5], creating a rougher feel.
For this reason, linen is often blended [6] with another material, like bamboo or cotton, to make the fabric softer and more comfortable as bedding.
Although Panda combines bamboo with French linen, our Sleep Hero reviewers found this blend still irritated their sensitive skin and left them itchy.
After a few wash cycles, the bedding became much softer and more comfortable.
Linen and bamboo also have excellent breathability and moisture-wicking capabilities, helping you sleep at a cosy temperature. ❄️
We explore which Panda bedding range is better for cold and hot sleepers further down.
Is Panda bedding suitable for you?
Panda London offers two bedding ranges made from different materials.
Let's explore which one is right for you.
Are you a hot sleeper?
Both Panda bedding ranges are suited to hot sleepers, whether you're going through menopause or living in a hot climate. 🔥
Bamboo and linen are highly breathable materials that encourage consistent airflow.
Your body heat can flow from one side of the bedding to another, keeping you cool throughout the night.
They both have moisture-wicking capabilities, absorbing your sweat and transferring the moisture through the bedding so it evaporates on the other side.
This keeps your skin dry so you can have a comfortable night's sleep.
However, feeling hot at night is also due to other factors, aside from your bedding, like the type of mattress, duvet tog rating and much more.
Are you a cold sleeper?
For cold sleepers, we recommend Panda's 100% Bamboo Bedding set.
Bamboo is breathable, moisture-wicking, and naturally insulating, so you can stay warm on winter nights and cool on summer ones.
Bamboo contains micro-gaps [7] that trap pockets of air.
These air pockets prevent your body heat from transferring through your sheets in winter, keeping you warm and insulated in bed.
However, as discussed above, these micro-gaps also allow your skin to breathe.
Bamboo's dual properties make it an excellent material for an all-season bedding set.
Pair your Panda bamboo bedding with a thick winter duvet, like the Boutique Silk Duvet from The Fine Bedding Company, for the ultimate cosy bed.
Are you eco-conscious?
Panda London is an excellent option if you're looking for sustainable, high-quality bedding. 🌿
They source bamboo and French linen from FSC-certified [8] forests, which are managed to high environmental, social and economic standards.
Bamboo and linen require far less water [9] than cotton bedding and don't need chemicals, pesticides or fertilisers to thrive.
Both types of Panda sheets are backed by an Oeko-Tex standard 100 certification [10], so you know they have been tested for harmful substances.
They also comply with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Group's [3] manufacturing restricted substances list. ☠️
Do you struggle with allergies, bacteria or breakouts?
Both Panda bedding sets are suited to allergy sufferers.
Bamboo and linen have antimicrobial and hypoallergenic properties. 🦠
They have moisture-wicking capabilities, so sweat doesn't linger in your bedding, creating a dry environment that discourages bacteria growth.
This helps to keep your allergies at bay and prevent breakouts from your bedding.
Do you toss and turn at night?
Our Sleep Hero testers found the 100% bamboo duvet cover slid off the bed if they moved around a lot due to its slippery surface.
If you are a restless sleeper, we recommend choosing the bamboo and French linen cover instead, which has more texture and is less likely to slide off the bed.
But active sleepers don't just move the duvet cover. They can also move the pillowcases, causing them to slip off the pillow.
Panda London's bedding sets come with two different types of pillow closures.
The 100% bamboo pillowcase has a classic envelope closure, which can easily slide off when paired with a restless sleeper and silky fabric.
However, the bamboo and French linen pillowcase has a middle envelope closure, which stops the pillowcase from slipping off the pillow at night.
This is perfect for those prone to tossing and turning.
Both Panda duvet covers come with ties inside each corner, which tie to the Panda duvet to keep it in place.
They also have a row of bamboo buttons to keep your duvet inside the cover.
This is particularly useful for active sleepers who find their duvet bunches up inside the cover.
How do you wash Panda London bedding?
The Panda bedding sets are easy to wash and dry.
Wash both sets on a 'delicate' setting on your washing machine. 🧼
Or, if you don't have a pre-made delicate setting, our Sleep Hero testers opted for 30 degrees and the lowest spin speed.
You can tumble dry and iron the bedding on low heat, but air drying is preferable.
Our testers found the bedding was very creased after air drying, even though the Panda website claims no ironing is necessary.
The creases disappeared after a few days of using the bedding.
Panda bedding UK for kids and babies

The kids' sheets and duvet covers are available in the 100% bamboo range in three colours: Pure White, Vintage Pink and Quiet Grey.
Panda does not offer bamboo and French linen bedding for kids.

How much does Panda London bedding cost?
Panda bedding is a luxurious product that comes at a higher price point between £145 and £200 for a double-sized complete set. 💸
The bamboo and French linen bedding is the most expensive product in the Panda bedding range, followed by the 100% bamboo set.
This price point is fairly competitive compared to other sustainable luxury bedding on the market, such as the Aeyla Eucalyptus Silk Sheet Set, which is over £250.
DreamCloud offers a fantastic 100% organic cotton bedding set at a significantly lower price with a two-year guarantee and no trial period.
In comparison, Panda offers a one-year guarantee to protect your purchase and a 30-day trial period.
